With the Kumon method students develop their vocabulary, kanji, grammar, reading and writing skills through worksheets and CDs, with instructors always on hand to answer questions and offer advice.

A Kumon class is neither a lecture-style class nor a group lesson. Instead, each student works on his or her own, in class and at home, on learning materials selected for his or her current Japanese ability.

Not being able to attend classes doesn’t prevent you from studying Japanese with Kumon. You can study Japanese at your convenience with Kumon’s correspondence course using the same material as used in class.

Kumon’s learning materials advance in appropriate steps to ensure smooth progress.

Because of Kumon, I was able to pass level 4 of the JLPT. I’m planning to take the next level of the test this year.
