・The Museum is open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
・The museum is closed Mondays, Fridays, weekends and public holidays in Japan. It is also closed for company vacations: summer vacation (10 to 19 August 2019); company foundation day (20 October); and winter vacation (28 December 2019 to 5 January 2020).
・Admission to the museum is free.
Special Opening in Commemoration of Toru Kumon
・In commemoration of Toru Kumon’s birth on 26 March 1914, the museum will be opened from Sunday 24 March to Tuesday 26 March from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. (Visitors will not be admitted after 4:00 p.m.)
・On Sunday 24 March from 2:00 p.m. Ms. Mahoko Shinjo, Toru Kumon’s daughter and director of the museum, and Mr. Masahiko Ezaki, corporate adviser of Kumon Toru Research Institute of Education, will give a speech about Toru Kumon and the Kumon Method (in Japanese only).

Take the subway bound for Senri Chuo from Shin Osaka to Momoyamadai station. From there it is 5–10 mins by taxi to the museum.
・There is now a small parking lot that is free to use for visitors driving to the museum. However, when it reaches full capacity you may have to park in one of the paid parking lots near the main road.
Touring the Museum
It is possible to arrange a tour of the museum in English if given advance notice. Alternatively, an English audio guide is available free of charge for visitors who would like to tour the museum at their own pace. It takes approximately one hour to tour the museum.
